Baebox is a wonderful new subscription box for girls age 8-12.
The pre-teen years can be full of pressure to make girls feel they have to strive to be ‘perfect’ particularly in terms of their image.
The tagline of BAEBOX is ‘awesome as you are’
And I believe this is a message our children need to hear loud and clear. They don’t need to constantly strive to fit academic and instagrammable ideas, they really are just perfectly fabulous as the kids they are.
A Baebox subscription includes:
positive and uplifting messages to reinforce the message to this age group that they are fabulous and special and valued individuals, just as they are.
The founder Rosie Shelley, mum to a 13 year old girl describes Baebox as:
a colourful box with a powerful message designed to give girls a regular boost and make a difference at a time when it really matters.
So what’s inside a Baebox?
Each month there are a minimum of 4 carefully selected products from lifestyle, stationery, school supplies, fashion accessories, indoor and outdoor games, toiletries and confectionery aimed at girls 8-12.
Do you want to see what my daughter received this month: I cannot begin to tell you how excited she was opening the parcel addressed just to her!
It contained a yoyo.
Postcards and affirmations.
An inspirational wall plaque.
A notebook and a box to keep special treasures in.
She loved them all! The positivity postcard was quickly made into a gift for a fundraising cousin with her £2 pocket money stuck to it with sellotape (so sweet.)
She will keep her guitar pics in her tin and write stories in her notebook she tells me. The yoyo was a big hit and we had so much fun learning how to do it.
Such fun, lovely, appropriate gifts!
We cannot wait till next month.
That is such a gorgeous idea. My daughter is only 6 but to be honest, she would love that too. I really like the idea of the message behind Baebox, so important for girls of that age
