How to make Grinch play dough
Making your own play dough is super simple.
All you need is:
1 cup of plain flour
1 cup of water
½ cup of salt
1 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
4 drops of food colouring
Couple of drops of essential oil (optional) I used peppermint for the green playdough and lemon for the yellow
Method:
You simple put all ingredients in a pan and cook over a moderate heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring all the time until it thickens and combines
Then you simply take it out the pan and let it cool.
Kneed it well and if still sticky add a tiny bit more flour.
Store in an airtight container and this will keep for months!
Grinch playdough can be made in to the Grinch of by printing or sketching an image and then copying it in play dough. It may take some practice! You can make just about anything with plauydough than scrumple it up for another day.
You can also have a go at making a whole array of coloured and flavoured play dough. It really is an inexpensive and fun things to do and there are so many possibilities and variations!
