Petal Art
It’s nature craft time again.
Oh I do love Thursday’s when our joint Nature Crafty linky, ‘Naturally Crafty’ is live. Catherine is hosting it this week over at Growing Family if you fancy linking something up. We have some gorgeous entries each week .. so inspiring.
This week I have a really speedy little example of petal art to show you. I love the impermanence of using flowers in this way, capturing these fallen petals at their peak and creating with them.
I love that the enjoyment is in the moment and a gust of wind can just come and blow them all away.

I think they look so pretty.
How I love roses. They remind me of my Grandad’s garden and making rose petal perfume in a old saucepan and insisting everyone wear it!
I have also been making rose bath salts with my petals and have grand plans for some pot pourri (tutorials coming soon!) . Natures bounty is rather fabulous isn’t it and a real inspiration to get crafty.
