Kids Food Games – Online, fun and interactive

As parents we all know how important it is to get our kids enthusiastic and educated about eating well. And we also all know that kids always learn best when they are playing  and entertained. Start lecturing them and they will soon switch off, present a game, particularly an online, interactive game and they will soon become engrossed.

These kid food games are tons of fun as well as being a great learning source and I have had huge amounts of fun myself trying them out. I have picked a few of my favourites to share with you but there are loads to choose from so you are bound to find at least a few that your child will love.  There are literally hundreds! A lot of the games are basic and will suit younger kids but some are a little more tricky and adults will certainly enjoy them too.

As an added bonus they are all free!

Here are my top 3.

Find the odd one out

Kids love spotting games so find the odd one out will quickly become a favourite! You get to choose between food animal or fruit and spot the odd one out before the timer runs out. . This is a great game for young kids but (just a heads up if you have a  very young child fruit is DEFINTELY harder than food)

Ice cream mania

This is a game for super speedy clickers (which I am not!) but it was great fun regardless trying to get the right amount of scoops on the cone in time! Definitely one for older kids and much easier to play on a phone than a pc. Frustrating and fabulous!

Sweet Word

Sweet word is is a word search game  which starts easy and gets progressively trickier. I love a word search and this is a fun puzzle featuring various desserts and sweets.  Words  just need to be highlighted and turn red when found. Words can be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal  forward to backward or in reverse order. This is brilliant for developing concentration skills.

Final thoughts on these fun food games for kids

All these games are wholesome and fun and are great for keeping kids observant and their minds active. It’s also really good way to begin to talk to kids about food choices, healthy foods and widening their palate.

And oh my goodness there are so many games to choose form. # let me know if you have a go at any of them!
