- Take a trip to the National Water Sports Centre – a brilliant day out with kids, free to enter and once there there are tons of water sports to sign up for including canoeing, sailing, water skiing and rafting, plus you can spectate too if having a go is not your thing. Then there is also crazy golf, a ropes course and laser tag too.
- Visit the robin hood statues- nestled below Nottingham castle the statue is huge and fabulous and makes for the perfect photo opportunity.
- Go bowling – there are 2 great bowling alleys in Nottingham and they are great fun for the whole family.
- Have a walk around the Arboretum – a lovely nature reserve where J M Barrie allegedly dreamt up Peter Pan.
- Watch the cricket at the world-famous Trent Bridge.
- See a show at the beautiful Theatre Royal.
- Take a tour of Wollaton Hall where Batman was filmed.
- Visit Greens Windmill in Sneinton and try your hand at milling bread.
