Conker Art – Naturally Crafty

Such a simple art project this week…making art with conkers. I just absolutely adore the brown shiny conkers and so often we collect them and then just sit in a bag. Not this year though I was determined we would make the very best of them.

Theyare just too pretty to hide away.

so we just used them in some simple drawings and they gave such beautiful textured shaped and life to our little pictures. We didn’t bother with glueing.I am all for art being experiential and transitory. It takes up far less room and creates far less waste this way too. If your child want to keep the image a quick photo will do.

What a fun way to use conkers!
