How to create a nature treasure box – Naturally Crafty #17

nature-treasure-box

So this week I have been out and about with the kids collecting treasures. Egg boxes are perfect for collecting treasure because it keep you finds really nice and safe and makes a wonderful display case too.

Once filled it is lovely to keep on display or it can be used to initiate a fun craft challenge.

The more colours and variety of shapes and textures in the found objects the better.

I drew a simple line drawing of an owl for my children and tasked them to decorate it with their treasures. Isn’t it adorable!

Egg boxes are a great way to protect treasures! The baby is a bit of an Egg box fan. I put his smaller toys in them and shut the lid and he spends ages playing with them (when he’s not attempting to eat the box!)…

Such a lovely idea, I’ve been dying to go to the forest with Amy to collect some autumn treasure but she’s off kindergarten with an ear infection and really not too well. There’s always next week, though x
